Need to get online but lack internet access? The library offersfree Wi-Fiand public computers. Do you have a community group meeting or event to plan? We havefree meeting spaces available. There are also copy, print, and fax servicesavailablefor a minimal fee.
Looking for digital entertainment? Your library card is your ticket to a world of possibilities! Through theTN R.E.A.D.S program, you can borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and stream movies and music– all from the comfort of your home. The library also has a physical collection of DVDs, CDs, and videos to choose from.
The library is a hub for family fun and learning. We offer year-round programs and events, including a summer reading program to keep kids engaged during the break. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in our collection, we can even borrow materials from other libraries for you. Additionally, we provide access to online databases and research tools, including Ancestry.com, to help you delve deeper into any topic.

Scirus Science Database
Scirus Science Database is the most comprehensive scientific research tool on the web. Genealogy Services
The Marshall County Memorial Library has a long history of providing outstanding genealogy resources. We house a uniquely expansive research collection including microfilm records: Marshall County Gazette (1859-2005), Lewisburg Tribune (1846-2017), state periodicals, city and state records, census information, deeds, wills, family tree information, assorted historical maps, and much more.
Our Genealogy Room contains valuable, irreplaceable information so you will not be allowed to remove any of the materials from the building. Library staff members will be happy to assist with your needs. There are inquiry forms located in the genealogy room that you may fill out and leave with any library staff member.
Research Assistance
Every third Thursday of each month a member of the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be here from 5:00 to 7:00 pm to assist you with your research.
